Hi there, welcome to our family shop!


I started making soap, plain old bar and liquid soaps,

because I am very alergic to all the synthetic soaps, additives and fragrances. 

I begain reseaching oils and processes that didn't cause me to break out, 

or fall into an asthma attack. I found over 55 natural oils and scents, 

additives and home made processes that work!


Then I said, "Hey, I bet there's others like me."


The Old Fashioned Shop was born!

We believe the best products don’t need a long list of complicated ingredients to be good.


Available in Tallow or Castile.


What's the difference? 


Our Tallow Soap is made with grass fed beef tallow. Just the way it's been made in America for hundreds of years. 

Tallow provides your skin with deep moisture, naturally mimicking your skin oils, and replenishing with vitamins. 


Our Castile Soap is made with olive oil, and coconut oil- both organic.

This soap is where the term "squeaky-clean" comes from. It removes all oils and dirt. It's important to use our natural lotion with this soap.
